What Are Flex Hybrid Shields?

The physical silicone product is our very much loved, soft and more mouldable FLEX silicone – hence the name. This supple silicone is ultra-soft, comfortable and form-fitting for so many clients eye shapes. This material truly assists with the shield placement during the lifting service and similar to our flex rods and traditional shield design the silicone nature means there is no need to use adhesive on the back of these shields to hold the apparatus in place.

Clients who also have some aversion to the use of the adhesive on the skin have now commented that lash lifting is becoming so much more comfortable and with the firm snug fitting silicone designs the entire service is much more enjoyable. This also aids to speed up the application time and most certainly is a game changer for salons using Elleebana.

The Hybrid design of these shields is asymmetrical in design, with the inner corner of the shield not reflecting the same shape or design as the outer section of the shield. A distinctive combination of a round rod at the base of the shield giving an outward curvature from the lash line but with the body of the shield extending directly upward instead of curling back into the traditional C curl that a rod gives, these hybrids offer the best of both worlds for lash shape creation.
The straight upward design gives the length to the lashes and prevents over curling (not over processing, two very different lash lift factors). It’s thanks to this unique hybrid curvature and shape that salons will be looking to add the Elleebana Flex Hybrid Shields to their treatments in a rush. You will also see that with the new Elleebana flex hybrid shields there is a rod for each eye. Meaning a Left and a Right side – this is clearly identified by the markings on the outer and inner sides of the rod. As an example - SR R would be Small Rod Right Side.
